"The missing piece"Reflection
This story makes me think about parents and their children. When we were young, parents always stood by our side. They took good care of us and they kept their children. As we grow up, we could no longer relay on our parents. We should have our own thought, sometimes to decide something by ourselves. When we were children, we always wait for parents to solve our problem. But if we always relay on them, we will learn nothing. Just like the missing piece. It sat at the same place and wait for someone who could fit. It waits nothing, but at last it tried to roll by itself. Finally it could roll by itself and, need not to wait for others. I think this story is telling about, children should not wait for parents helps you, but to help yourselves. Not always relay on parents but to learn how to do it by our own.

Summary of"A difference of once"
The story is about a boy whose name is Joe. He is a school boy also a basketball player. One day he lost the game and only lost one point. He was angry about that, so he went to sleep and didn’t prepare for the exam of tomorrow. And he failed. He needed to got 35 but he only got 34. So he asked the teacher to gave him 35. But the teacher said “you only lost one point, why didn’t you ask the referee to give you another game.” Then he realized what the teacher mean. It is not only one point but also means a lot.
After reading this story, I really feel the teacher is right. It is not only one point, it means a lot. Nowadays people do things like that. They don’t take things seriously. After they failed then they learned. We should do all prepare for the things we do. Then we won’t take fail as Joe.

Summary of “Piggy book”
It is a book tells about changing roles.
In traditional world, people always think women should stay at home and feed babies.
What if they quite this job?
Maybe men will know how hard the women are.

In the year of 2000 a man whose name is Neil Walkingshaw wanted to find a way to take care of his newborn child. When he asked his boss if he could switch his job to part-time job, his boss refused.
For centuries, people think what women should do is in the home and take care of the babies. What the men should do is going out to find job and make money for his family. But in the year of 1970s and 80’s men were no longer the main moneymaker.
Because society changes its view, the role men play in the relationship in the family now has lots of change. And many researches find out that fathers tend to be encouraging and playful.
Different styles between men and women are also contributing to children’s ability to understand and communicate emotion in many ways.
Nowadays fathers are encouraging taking more active role in children’s lives. And all men will learn to take their duties as serious as Neil Walkingshaw

About me
Hi everyone!
My name is Yu-Han Sun, I come from Taipei, Taiwan. Now I study Japanese in Chung Shan Medical University. I'm 20 years old this October.
I love to watch movies with my friends during leisure time. And I've seen a great movie recently which named "The pursuit of happyness", it really impressed me. My favorite actor is Will Smith and Brad Pit and my favorite actress is Julia Roberts. I also like to listen to music, it helps me relax, sometimes it can also make me feel more happy. I admire people who can sing really well. I like soft rock music, so my favorite singers are Ashlee Simpson and Linsay Lohan. I like to read books，too. Magazine, literature, biography… etc. But not focus on only one kind of book. I think people can get more information and knowledge, sometimes can also get some new notion of life from the books. And this is the main reason why I like to read.
Last but not the least, I want to talk about my goals of this class. I hope I can learn more about how to write in correct way. I think it is really important. Without speaking, writing is also very important. Good writing skill could make an articulate view point, but it really not that easy to learn about it. So I hope I can get lots progress in this class.
